The manoir de Courboyer

This iconic manor house, which dates from the 15th century and is a listed building, is one of the largest of its kind in the Perche, and one of the few to be open to the public. This three storey house features exhibitions on various topics relating to the Parc (local wildlife, architecture, culture...) as well as a look at the world of the manor house and the Fontenay family, the former owners of Courboyer Manor.

The estate

Eight kilometres of pathways divided into four separate walks (lasting from 30 minutes to an hour) are yours to enjoy. The main pathway is suitable for persons with reduced mobility. The route goes through the vegetable garden, the orchard, past the beehive and also enables you to get up close and personal with Percheron horses, donkeys and Normande cattle.

Young and old alike can also have fun with games designed specifically for the great outdoors!

The visitor centre

At the Maison du Parc, you will find various facilities: the visitor and tourist information centres which will help you to get the most from your visit to the Perche, a shop selling local produce and a restaurant offering quality cooking based on simple, locally-sourced produce (for low season opening hours, please contact us).

PRACTICAL DETAILS

The Maison du Parc is open to the public every day all year round (except for Christmas and New Year’s Day).
